We’re raising funds to support Alpha Chi Sigma in its mission to build a strong network of future scientists and professionals through professional development, scientific outreach, and academic support initiatives. With your help, we can provide valuable resources to members, organize meaningful events, and expand our impact within the scientific community. The funds raised will be put to use starting immediately, with allocations planned for ongoing and upcoming projects over the academic years. This includes our chemistry closet initiative, an outreach program targeted towards helping first generation students who may not be able to afford science materials. We have already had a very successful first drive this past semester where all of our lab coats, goggles, textbooks, and molecular kits were given to students in need. However, the number of students that request our help is growing and our resources cannot meet this demand since our initiative relies heavily on student and community donations. We would appreciate any and every contribution since it would make a huge difference towards helping keep not only the chemistry closet initiative alive but also helps create an environment where science, mentorship, and collaboration can thrive.
