BU Fatakada is Boston University’s premier competitive Garba-Raas team, and we are fundraising to support our journey through the 2025-2026 Raas All-Stars national competition circuit. As one of the few collegiate teams representing BU and South Asian folk dance on a national stage, we are committed to excellence both in performance and cultural authenticity. We have been competing each year since 2004 and hope to continue our legacy. Donations will help cover essential costs such as competition registration fees, travel and lodging for out-of-state competitions, traditional costumes, and props. These funds will be used throughout the academic year, with the majority spent between November and March, during competition season. The support ensures that Fatakada can continue to compete at the highest level, promote South Asian culture, and make BU’s presence felt on stages across the country.
