SUPPORT BU GRAPHIC MEDICINE
BU Graphic Medicine Club (GMC) is a student-led organization that explores the use of graphic narratives within medical discourse and aims to spread awareness of the field of graphic medicine by facilitating student collaborations with other student clubs, authors, artists, and medical professionals. At the Graphic Medicine Club, students will be able to learn from guest speakers and workshops about graphic medicine’s use as a therapeutic tool for patients and healthcare providers to unpack their experiences, as well as learn to express themselves through art and share their personal stories through club-organized workshops.
HELP US REACH OUR GOAL
Every year, GMC releases a zine that we research, design, and create which presents volunteers, our E-board, and other BU students' artwork in a published format. These artworks are used to convey different medical related stories, including informational graphics, personal stories, and new innovations to allow greater accessibility in the community. We would like to have more funds so we can increase production of our zine and allow greater distribution. We aim to have a zine out by the second semester of the 2026-27 school year.
