10 Years of Impact

• 2026 marks GROW's 10th anniversary.
• Our ~200 alumni have gone on to study at MIT, Northeastern, Harvard, Columbia, Tufts, UC Berkeley, and other top institutions. They work in medical labs, research institutes, engineering firms, and other fields across STEM.
• Last year, 100% of GROW students felt they grew more confident in their ability to contribute to science, and 93% said the experience encouraged them to continue in STEM research and fields of study.

How Do Our Students GROW?

• Participate in cutting-edge research in a collaborative group setting
• Receive direct mentorship from PIs, graduate students, and lab techs at an R1 research university
• Meet several times a week with their cohort and the Program Manager to set goals and report research progress
• Hear guest speakers and go on field trips to learn about research, higher education, and careers in STEM
• Develop communication skills by presenting an academic poster at a summer symposium
