Data for Change: Climate Datathon

The Women in Data Science (WiDS) Datathon at BU empowers the next generation of women leaders in data science to tackle today’s most pressing environmental challenges. Every spring, this event brings together students from all backgrounds and skill levels to analyze climate data, build models, and design innovative solutions for sustainability. The datathon offers workshops, mentorship, and a supportive community where participants can strengthen their technical skills and connect with peers and industry leaders. It provides participants with the opportunity to apply classroom learning to real-world problems, develop their data skills, and be part of a global movement for change.
