Legal Follies is Boston University School of Law’s resident sketch and improv comedy group, bringing laughter and levity to the BU Law community through original, student-written performances. Entirely student-run, Legal Follies offers law students a creative outlet that promotes camaraderie, collaboration, and well-being in the midst of a demanding academic environment.
This Fall, we are bringing a new event to our repertoire: an improv show! This debut performance will feature dynamic short-form improv performed by a cast of 8+ members of the Legal Follies, offering law students unique platform to build community while exploring the intersections of law, humor, and popular culture. We plan to run the production in late October/early November.
We require funding for the following:
- Administrative and tech costs Costumes, props, and set pieces
- Marketing and print materials (playbills, posters, flyers)
- Meals during tech week and show nights
