Giving Day is when we secure many of the funds essential to our programs. This year, we aim to raise $15,000+ to support daily operations and enhance the student-athlete experience.
INVESTING IN OUR STUDENT-ATHLETES:
Our top priorities this year are to secure funding for critical programmatic needs, including:
- Enhancing team travel, allowing student-athletes to compete against top-level competition and elevate their overall experience. An overnight trip for an away meet generally costs over $10,000 for our entire team, and additional funds would allow us to make those trips the best experience possible for our student-athletes (improved quality of meals, hotel, etc.).
- Each January, our team returns to campus before the residence halls reopen for the spring semester. During this important training window, we provide meals for all student-athletes and lodging for those who live on campus. This investment totals several thousand dollars per day and plays a critical role in preparing our team to train, compete, and perform at their highest level. Contributions directly enhance this experience and ensures our student-athletes have everything they need to start the spring season strong.
- Essential equipment and gear, so athletes can train and compete with the tools necessary for success. This includes purchasing tech suits ($350 per swimmer), equipment bags ($250 per swimmer), and supports future equipment upgrades for our divers (video equipment, mats, trampoline, etc.).
YOUNG ALUMNI CHALLENGE
The more young alumni (Classes of 2016–2025) who participate, the greater the impact! If we reach our goal of 36 men's swimming & diving young alumni, additional matching funds will be unlocked, thanks to a generous donor.
