Sapere Aude Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Sapere Aude Fund provides annual scholarship awards based on financial need to one or more students at Boston University Academy. The Sapere Aude Fund was established by a current BUA family to honor Dr. James (Jim) Davis on the occasion of his 30th year teaching history and philosophy at BUA. Named for the Latin phrase “dare to be wise,” the endowed fund will support financial aid for students who demonstrate the intellectual curiosity and critical thinking that Dr. Davis inspires in every class.
