Your support of the Army ROTC through the Commander's Discretionary Fund have a visible impact on our Cadets, allowing them to focus on developing their leadership skills and compete at high standards without the stress of funding. Donor support has allowed the BU Army ROTC program to truly invest in events and competitions that have enabled the program to consistently produce high caliber Cadets who have assessed into their top choice for branches as well as receiving their desired component.
Your gifts will sponsor or offset costs for Cadet events such as the Army 10 Miler, Ranger Challenge competition, Branch Night and the MSIV Staff Ride to Gettysburg. These events would not be possible without donations due to rising costs and decreased budgets.
Donations also help in case of government shutdowns like the one experienced in 2025. These funds helped secure institutional events that were still authorized despite the freeze on government spending.
