On the BU Medical Campus, the library is much more than books and journals. At Alumni Medical Library, we care about the whole student. We aim to be a safe, comfortable, welcoming space for all. While our annual budget covers the collection and staff, our gift fund allows for us to creatively support additional information, research and life-long learning needs of our diverse student body, faculty and staff.
With Giving Day 2026, we hope to raise funds to support student wellness in the library. Gifts may be used for healthy snacks, stress-relieving activities such as puzzles and coloring books, art exhibits, and new technology for study spaces.
Almost sixty years ago, Alumni Medical Library was named in acknowledgement of the support alumni gave to build its building. Now, we ask for support to continue our legacy as a premier student service organization.
