Kung Fu Club is dedicated to facilitating a positive and disciplined environment in which our athletes can pursue their practice of martial arts while also engaging in world-class tournaments and cultural performance events.
We are very grateful to have fostered connections with our alumni, friends, and families of team members, whose support allowed us to make tremendous strides last semester. Last Fall, Kung Fu Club was proud to represent Boston University at the World Open Martial Arts Championship, winning five Gold and five Silver medals, and the Chinese Martial Arts Autumn Invitational, where we won three Bronze medals. With your help, we can do even better!
Our mission remains the same: all funding will be used to purchase and replace essential equipment and protective gear, as well as pay for travel and entry expenses to tournaments. It is important to us that we are able to subsidize the frequently high costs of competing; our athletes deserve the opportunity to gain experience at these tournaments and receive recognition for their dedication and hard work.
