We are indeed once again writing to ask for your support for the Boston University Men's Ultimate Frisbee Team. The boys have shown incredible grit, determination, and eagerness to grow this past year. As we compete at the Division 1 level, we need continuous funding to develop our program.
We are a dedicated group of athletes who are passionate about this sport and committed to representing Boston University with the utmost pride and excellence. Our team has shown a great deal of perseverance throughout the year. We had a successful start to the school year when we dominated in this years X/Y tournament at MIT Brigg's Field. Despite a 0-3 start Saturday at Lobster Pot, we clawed back and won ninth in the ninals bracket, going 3-0. We hosted the Beanpot and went 1-2 for the day. As we sort out our Saturday issues and combat the frigid climate here at Nickerson Field, we as a club team continue to rely on your funding to continue our program.
Your contribution helps cover the costs of travel, equipment, and other expenses associated with competing at a high level. Traveling to tournaments like these provide incredible opportunities for our athletes to make lifelong bonds in a supportive and energetic community. With your support, we are able to develop our players and give them the experience and confidence they need to become better leaders on and off the field. We believe that ultimate frisbee is not just a game, but a community. Your donation would not only benefit our team but also contribute to the larger ultimate frisbee community by supporting the growth and development of the sport at the collegiate level.
