Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP)

Every full-time BU undergraduate student is eligible to participate in UROP. Student-faculty partnerships span all academic areas—biological and engineering sciences, economics and sociology, history and religion, business and the arts, and more. Undergraduate researchers gain valuable experience, faculty mentorship, and career support, and a distinct advantage when applying to graduate programs or jobs. We’d like to give stipends to every UROP student who qualifies, but growing interest in the program puts that out of reach. Your gift to the UROP Fund will help fill the gap.

Stipends for student researchers:

• Academic year: $750 per semester
• Summer: $7,000
