The Howard Thurman Center

The Howard Thurman Center, Boston University’s cultural hub fosters inclusivity and encourages meaningful connections across diverse communities.

Why Give?

Your contributions to the Howard Thurman Center will have a profound impact on the lives of our students and the broader community. Here’s how your support can make a difference:

Cultural Programs: Support an array of culturally based programs, lectures, discussions, films, and events that promote the unity of all people and the philosophy of the Search for Common Ground.
Inclusive Environment: Help create an inclusive space where students can step outside their comfort zones, build relationships, and share experiences with others.

The Howard Thurman Center is a place where cultural expression in all its forms is embraced and encouraged. It serves as a “home away from home” for students, offering opportunities for self-discovery and community building.
