The Boston University Cycling Club is dedicated to offering opportunities for all BU students to embrace cycling, and we also represent BU at collegiate-level races across the Northeast through the spring race season. This year, we kicked off our riding by taking our riders to Tour Opacum, an annual ride for land conservation in Brimfield, MA. Back in Boston, we have been hosting weekly group rides for cyclists of all abilities, providing members with a place to connect, train, and enjoy cycling together. So far, we have welcomed many new members - beginners and experienced racers alike - to BU Cycling since the beginning of the year, and we look forward to seeing our team excel at races in the spring.
Donations like yours help us cover operational costs such as travel and race registration expenses, making our sport accessible and affordable for all. They also contribute towards the licensing fees we face as a collegiate club registered under USA Cycling. Most importantly, your generosity provides our student-athletes the opportunity to compete in the sport they love at the collegiate level - from allowing them access to pricy equipment like trainers to ensuring they have a comfortable place to stay near distant race venues.
This year, the first $25 dollars given by each unique alumni donor will be matched by a generous benefactor of our club sports program! The three clubs with the most donors each day from the 15th through the 17th will also be awarded extra funds, so please spread the word to friends and family as well. As always, thank you so much for your support!
