Men's Swimming & Diving

This season, Men's Swimming and Diving is setting its sights on achieving our fundraising goal of $30,000+ to sustain daily operations and elevate the student-athlete experience. To kick off the year with momentum, we’re working to meet the Terriers Together goal of $10,000, setting the tone for a successful season ahead.

Our top priorities this year are to secure funding for critical programmatic needs, including:

• Enhancing our Winter Break Training period. We have close to three weeks on campus in January when we provide meals for all student-athletes and lodging for those who live on campus at Hotel Commonwealth. This costs several thousand dollars per day, and any contributions will help to enhance that experience for our student-athletes and have them prepared to train and compete at their best!
• Enhancing team travel, allowing student-athletes to compete against top-level competition and elevate their overall experience. An overnight trip for an away meet generally costs around $10,000 for our entire team, and additional funds would allow us to make those trips the best experience possible for our student-athletes (improved quality of meals, hotel, etc.).
• Essential equipment and gear, so athletes can train and compete with the tools necessary for success. This includes purchasing tech suits ($350 per swimmer), equipment bags ($250 per swimmer), and upgrades to our dryland equipment and trampoline for our divers (approximately $2,500).
