Women's Club Basketball

We are Boston University Women’s Club Basketball, and we are so excited to be back on the court for another fall and spring season!
Our story in this league started not too long ago, but since then, it has been filled with road trips to games, the most fun late-night practices, lots of pasta dinners, playing teams from all around Boston and New England, and best of all, a ton of amazing memories. We have been so fortunate to have such a committed group of girls who are not only teammates, but friends who crossed paths because of our shared love for basketball. For many of us, basketball has been a part of our lives for as long as we can remember, and this team has given us the chance to have an outlet again and continue playing the sport we grew up loving.

This year is especially exciting as we welcome our new coach, Coach Sarah, a former UMass Boston Women’s Basketball player! Her focus on goal setting, communication, and playing with intention is already pushing us to become a stronger team as we work toward our biggest goals: making it to the regional and, hopefully, national tournament!

We are fundraising because we want to continue growing this team and giving our players the resources we need to play the game we love. Donations will directly support new equipment such as more basketballs and practice jerseys, referee fees, and travel costs for games and tournaments throughout New England, including trips as far as Maine and Rhode Island. As a club team, these costs add up quickly, and every donation, big or small, helps give us more opportunities to practice, compete, travel together, and continue building this awesome team that has brought all of us together.

Even a small donation can go directly toward something we use every week. We are so grateful for any support of BU Women’s Club Basketball and can’t wait to see where this season takes us. Thank you all!

Thanks to a generous challenge donor, the first $25 from each unique alumni donor will be matched dollar-for-dollar. Additionally, up to $1,000 in bonus funds will be awarded to the top three clubs with the most donors at the end of each day of the campaign. Help us win big by making your gift during Terriers Together!
