When we ask our students what they need most, the answer is clear: They want to know that their Boston University education will lead to a fulfilling life and a successful career. That’s why we’ve launched an initiative focused on career readiness. It’s called Students in Action, and you can help bring it to life.

For students in the College of Fine Arts School of Music, the Galt McDermot Career Development Fund will provide this essential support and funds other career-development opportunities in the future.
“The most important thing for me was being able to study rigorously both inside and outside of music,” says Matthew Sperling (CFA’29). From singing in a choir with an orchestra for the first time to hearing professional composers speak about their work, his experience at BU so far has been “amazingly enriching.”
Your generosity can make a real difference to CFA students while they’re here. Now, your support for their career development can help make a difference for the rest of their lives.
