When we ask our students what they need most, the answer is clear: They want to know that their Boston University education will lead to a fulfilling life and a successful career. That’s why we’ve launched an initiative focused on career readiness. It’s called Students in Action, and you can help bring it to life.
Students in Action at STH
At the School of Theology, the Global and Contextual Engagement Fellowship Fund helps students explore a variety of ways to engage with the world.
Maria Gorret Nampiima (STH’26, SSW’26) pursued her interest in environmental justice by enrolling in STH’s Faith & Ecological Justice program—and by looking for more hands-on ways to apply what she was learning in class. That led her to organize a waste audit at the school. “I had never done anything like it before,” Maria says, “and it was eye-opening to see what we throw away and how waste is processed behind the scenes.”
Your generosity can make a real difference to STH students while they’re here. Now, your support for internships can help make a difference for the rest of their lives.
