Graduation is an important moment.
On graduation day, campus feels electric. Comm Ave is a sea of graduates in red robes that finally get to step on the BU seal. Every graduating student should be able to experience this energy and celebrate with their community. Yet, some students miss out because their cap and gown are too expensive.

All students deserve to celebrate this accomplishment.
It would be disappointing to miss graduation, but that’s the case for some BU students.

The Tassels for Terriers campaign aims to change that by covering the cost of a cap and gown for every student facing financial hardship. Achieving it would ensure all graduating students can participate in BU Commencement. And isn’t that the Terrier way?

What does commencement mean to BU graduates?
