Terpsichore (terp-SIK-oh-ree), BU's premier a capella group, needs your help! The Terps are looking for support in funding sound services for our upcoming concerts. High quality sound equipment and engineering allows us to showcase the artistry and professionalism of Terpsichore and BU Acapella as a whole.
We host two concerts during the spring semester: Up to InTERPretation and our final spring concert. Up to InTERPpretation is a "Pitch Perfect"-style competition/fundraiser that brings together a capella groups from BU and beyond. Our final spring concert shows off our semester of hard work with our complete repertoire of complex in-house arrangements.
We have been unable to acquire any funding for sound services through BU so are looking to you all to help us reach our goal. Sound services for each event comes to $2,270 for a total of $4,540 for the semester. By donating you support the Terps in their pursuit of inclusive music-making and enable us to showcase our hard work and unique sound.

$50 - rental of stereo mic or 1 loudspeaker
$75 - rental of 1 handheld microphone
$100 - rental of cable package or subwoofers
$200 - rental of digital mixer
$750 - system technician/sound engineer
