The UAV Club is raising funds to build a drone for the SUAS international intercollegiate drone building and flying competition scheduled for 2026. The money will be used to purchase parts for the UAV and to support student expenses such as transportation and lodging for the event. We will use the parts we buy to create our very best UAV, as well as teach members unique and necessary skills to make our UAVs fly and get them some experience in the field! The UAV Team will be building two projects, an autonomous Quadplane and a Search and Rescue Hexacopter, only one of which will make it to the competition.
