This summer, help a local high school student take theirs in a real BU research lab.

About GROW:

GROW (Greater Research Opportunities for the Workforce) is a six-week summer program that places rising high school seniors in labs across BU. For 10 years, GROW has shown students that everyone belongs in STEM.

Our mission:

• Increase access to hands-on research experiences and mentorship for those who might not otherwise have the opportunity
• Encourage students underrepresented in STEM to pursue study/careers in science & technology

Where Your Gift Goes

All donations will go directly to student participant stipends. These stipends are essential to defray the cost of attendance and broaden participation.

With STEM outreach funding shrinking, many students are losing access to hands-on learning experiences that can shape their futures. A $6,000 investment will make it possible for three Boston-area students to participate by defraying transportation costs and offsetting lost income, ensuring finances aren’t a barrier to participation.
