This year, our department is focusing on community building! Building on last year’s successes, we aim to create even more opportunities for connection and collaboration. One exciting initiative we hope to fund is a faculty-led project to bring mathematically inspired art to our community space. Donor support also helps us bring in more guest speakers for our yearly colloquium and weekly seminars, bringing new views to the department and opportunities for cross-functional collaboration in our four research groups Number Theory, Dynamics, Probability & Statistics, and Geometry. Your donations also supports our Gender Minorities in Mathematics & Statistics Luncheon Series, which provides a space for everyone in the department.
