Your gift helps the Preservation Studies Program train the next generation of preservation professionals. Donations enable our students reach their full potential by providing support for preservation field trips, conference attendance, and guest lectures, as well as assisting with funding for other research opportunities.
Since the 1970s the Preservation Studies Program has been training students for productive careers working in historic preservation and the stewardship of cultural resources and heritage. Successful, environmentally minded stewardship is part of the institutional DNA of Boston University, and the multi-disciplinary Preservation Studies Program draws inspiration and vitality from this rich context and curricula. Learning takes place on campus and through hands-on preservation planning, historical research, and exploration, with field trips, internships and the Capstone independent research project core elements of our program.
