The Boston University Equestrian Team is a competitive Club Sport that proudly represents BU in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA), Zone 1, Region 4. This past year, we achieved tremendous success, with two of our standout riders, Janet Hedges and Captain Sonia Agarwal, competing at IHSA Nationals in Tryon, NC—placing 9th in Open Fences and 4th in Intermediate Fences, respectively!
Our fall season started on a high note as we were named High Point Team at our home show, co-hosted with Tufts University. Additionally, our very own Olivia Reiskin earned the title of Reserve High Point Rider. As the season progressed, we continued to grow and are now eagerly preparing for regionals this spring, with hopes of advancing to Nationals once again.
None of this would be possible without the generous support of our alumni, family, and friends. As we enter the postseason and set our sights on Nationals, we face additional costs for competition fees and travel.
