The CDS Launch Pad Career Development Fund supports initiatives focused on career development and preparedness for students enrolled at the Faculty of Computing & Data Sciences (CDS). These include student internships and research stipends, career advising, industry partnerships and guest speaker programs, experiential learning opportunities, and more.
As BU's newest, and one of the most popular majors and minors, we know students are choosing CDS because they see the necessity of computing and data sciences in their future professional endeavors. This fund helps to ensure we are equipping these students with the resources they need to gain real-world experience and find relevant, rewarding opportunities after graduation. Gifts to this fund will help to encourage student research projects with faculty, foster industry partnerships to aid in recruitment, and provide our staff with support in creating new events and initiatives as well as advising this fast-growing student population.
