The Institute on Culture, Religion, and World Affairs (CURA) is a world-leading center for research, education, and public scholarship on religion and world affairs. CURA fosters conversations on religion and world affairs at a time when these conversations are increasingly challenging and yet desperately needed.
Our supporters give to CURA because they are passionate about supporting:
• Scholarship, events, and public discussions on religion and world affairs, Christian nationalism, Israel and Palestine, African Religion and Politics, Human Rights and Religion, and much more!
• CURA’s Fellowship program and Colloquium on Religion and World Affairs, which provides an interdisciplinary space for faculty and students to workshop papers prior to publication
• CURA’s travel research grants to BU students and fellows
• CURA’s new initiatives like its public-facing Symposium on the Jewish Left
