The Wendy Carol Byers Memorial Scholarship Fund, established in 1991, in memory of Wendy Carol Byers, SSW'91 supports BUSSW students with disabilities who show financial need.
This particular fund supports BUSSW students with a disability who are also in need of financial aid. Disability justice is a key component to the equity and inclusion efforts at the School of Social Work. Students also have the opportunity to be involved with the school's Center for Aging & Disability Education & Research among other resources related to disability justice.
