Previously known as Strong Women Strong Girls, Girls Inc. focuses on mentorship and empowerment for girls in grades 3-5. The curriculum grounds itself in actively engaging young minds through hands-on activities and an introduction to female role models around the world. This mentorship program is taught by your fellow BU peers, and transportation is our highest cost. Many public schools and community centers are located outside of the main metropolitan area of Boston, often requiring our mentors to transfer trains and buses.
This fund will hopefully aid our ability to ensure all our mentors can efficiently get to their mentoring destinations on time. Anything helps us - thank you so much!
