We are fundraising to support the students in our club to go on an engineering brigade to Guatemala through the Global Brigades organization. During this brigade, students spend a week working alongside an engineer, other global brigades' staff and members of the Guatemalan community to create a plan for a clean water distribution system. The communities we visit are under-resourced and the people who live there often have to walk upwards of 30 minutes to an hour to have access to clean water.
Our mission is to work alongside these communities and empower them to reach their health and wellness goals by providing a sustainable solution to clean water access. Any donations we receive will be used to lower the cost our members have to pay out of pocket for flights and for the housing/food package that we pay for through the Global Brigades organization to make sure we can go to Guatemala in May 2026.
