The Women's, Gender & Sexuality Studies Program brings together scholars, students, and activists across disciplines to study how gender, sexuality, race, disability, and citizenship shape our lives—and how we can build a more just world. Our courses, research, and public programming explore these questions across cultures and historical periods, training students to think critically about inequality and to act on what they learn.
At a time when gender and sexuality studies programs across the country are being shuttered, our program is growing. WGS is currently developing a new major that will deepen our curriculum and give students even more ways to make this work the center of their education.
