Girls Who Code is a national nonprofit dedicated to supporting and increasing the number of women and non-binary people in STEM! We host professional development events, technical workshops, social events, volunteer programs, weekly general body meetings, and a mentorship program.
Giving Day donations will be used to sponsor our members to attend conferences such as the Grace Hopper Conference for women in tech. Additionally, your donations will help us organize professional events for all of our members. This will ultimately give our members the opportunity to network with professionals in the industry, learn new technical skills, and perhaps even land an internship!
Here are some examples of the impact your support can make:
- $50: Weekly workshop and Professional Expenses
- $100: Covers cost of our members in our mentoring program to travel to a company site
- $500: Ticket for one member to attend a conference
- $1,000: Covers almost full cost of one member to travel to and attend the Grace Hopper Conference this year
